How Do These Meets Work ????

Saturday morning meet at the course on JCCC one hour prior to your race. The course in on the west side of the campus and is southwest of the track on JCCC campus. We will have a tent set up for everyone to congregate at.
YOU WILL NEED:
UNIFORM
TEAM T SHIRT-WITH YOUR NAME ON IT SOMEWHERE!!!!!!
RUNNING FLATS (RUNNING SHOES)
RUNNING SPIKES WITH SPIKES ALREADY IN THE SHOES
WATER/GATORADE
RUNNING SOCKS 2 PAIR

If your forget or did not check out a uniform you can not run in the race.

As of this writing (10am on Friday) the schedule is as published. It still may change due to heat schedule so keep checking back and sign up for the twitter account on the website name “smeastxc”

The races tend to take 30 min so the group getting ready to run next needs to be warming up stretching a preparing to run even while the coaches are off coaching the prior group!!!!

Prior to the start of the race athletes will pile their clothes together, or even better put in a sports bag with their name on it and the clothes will be taken back to the tent!!!

Course maps are posted on this website and should be printed out and studied before tomorrow morning. Look at the landmarks for mile splits.

Finally, enjoy the competition. Push yourself. Keep the thoughts positive as you are running and lets shoot for a sweet personal record.
